Frederica (born February 6, 1982) is an Indonesian film producer. She is the founder of Falcon Pictures, along with HB Naveen, in 2010. Her first film as a producer was Milli & Nathan (2011). To date, Frederica has produced more than 50 films. In addition to producing films, she and Falcon Pictures have also taken over film distribution, acquired copyrights, and restored classic Indonesian films.
Initially, Erica was unfamiliar with the film industry, as her educational background was in public relations. After graduating in 2004, she began her career in advertising as an account manager at Bhakti Media (later renamed MNC Corp). She was responsible for the creative process of TV commercials, where she learned about visual product creativity.
However, she felt unchallenged. While working in advertising, she only handled visual products with a duration of 30 seconds. She sought a more complex and challenging role as a TV producer. A year later, she moved to Cross Media International (now MNC Digital Entertainment), a part of the MNC media group. Erica worked as a producer for TV shows adapted from international formats, such as Fear Factor, 30 Seconds to Fame, and Joe Millionaire.
Erica then expanded into the film industry. Her journey led her to meet HB Naveen, who was then the director of Bhakti Media. In 2010, Naveen and Erica left Bhakti Media and co-founded Falcon Pictures.
Her first film as a producer was Milli & Nathan (2011). To date, Frederica has produced more than 50 films. Besides producing films, she and Falcon Pictures have also taken over film distribution, acquired copyrights, and restored classic Indonesian films. Currently, they own the licenses to more than 300 Indonesian films, including works by Benyamin S., Warkop, Rhoma Irama, and several other legendary Indonesian films.
