John Zaozirny is the President of Feature Film Production and Literary Management at Bellevue Productions, where he oversees both the company’s feature film development slate and its literary management division.
John represents a roster of accomplished writers and directors whose credits include Cobweb, Infinite, Parallel, Eli, Bad Match, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022), Heavy Trip, Office Uprising, Jolt, and Splinter, among others. His clients have sold and set up projects at major studios, including Warner Bros., Paramount, Fox, Lionsgate, New Line, Focus Features, Fox 2000, Sony, and Universal.
Over the past decade, John’s clients have earned 37 placements on the prestigious Black List, an annual survey of the industry’s best unproduced screenplays. These include Blonde Ambition (No. 1 script of 2016), Headhunter (No. 1 in 2020), and Cauliflower (No. 1 in 2021).
In television, his clients have contributed to series including FBI: International, Bosch: Legacy, Mr. Robot, Kiff, Shantaram, Training Day, Tiny Pretty Things, Hawaii Five-0, The Man in the High Castle, and Hand of God. He also represents the writer of the Eisner-nominated comic Little Bird.
As a producer, John has developed numerous feature films, including Cristo (Warner Bros., Black List 2010), Warden (New Line), Capsule (Fox, Black List 2013), Blonde Ambition (Universal, Black List 2016), and Lionhunters (Warner Bros., Black List 2017). His producing credits also include Always Watching, Parallel, and Eli, released by Netflix in 2019. Most recently, he produced Paramount’s Infinite, directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Mark Wahlberg, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Dylan O’Brien, which debuted on Paramount+ in 2021.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, John is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied Film and Television.
